Goodbye Ohio

Goodbye Ohio is a four-piece band from Shrewsbury. The line up of acoustic guitar, bass, cajon and three harmony-driven vocals strives to capture the essence and strength of indie music in its purest form from the genre's rich 80s and 90s back catalogue. Although the music is pared-down in its presentation, audiences at Goodbye Ohio gigs tend not to sit down to drink tea and eat cake while the band is on. It usually only takes two or three numbers before they're up dancing and singing along, unless of course it's Sit Down by James, for which it's customary to... well... yes you've guessed it! Goodbye Ohio's repertoire also includes songs from The Cure, The Housemartins, The House Of Love, Inspiral Carpets, Lloyd Cole and the Commotions, New Order, The Pixies, The Stone Roses and The Smiths. Hell, they even throw in some Kinks and Rolling Stones for good measure. Goodbye Ohio: An eclectic bunch with a wide range of footwear
